About this service
Bring me your blanket, towel, baby gift, or tote, and I’ll add a monogram, name, phrase, or icon in your choice of 30+ fonts, 260+ icons, 25 bow and frame designs, and 60 Madeira thread colors. Free local pickup and drop-off in Traverse City. Mail-in welcome.
How it works
- Use the form above to tell me what you’re bringing and what you want stitched on it.
- I’ll reply within 24 hours with font and thread recommendations and confirm the final price.
- Drop off in TC, mail to me, or hand it off in person. I’ll text when it’s ready.
Pricing
Embroidery starts at $15 per piece. Pricing depends on the design you pick:
- Icon or small motif: $15
- Single initial (1-letter monogram): $15
- 2-letter monogram: $15
- 3-letter monogram (classic or embellished): $20
- Name, phrase, or short text: $20
Optional add-ons (available on monograms and names):
- Add a bow or frame from my library of 25 designs: +$5
- Add a small icon next to your design: +$5
Bundle discount: $5 off when you bring 3 or more pieces in one order.

What I embroider
Cotton and linen blankets, throw pillows, pillow shams, bath and hand towels, tote bags, baby blankets, swaddles, denim, t-shirts, and most woven fabrics.
On sizing
By default I size each design to look right on your item, usually a monogram 2 to 4 inches tall, a name in script 1 to 2 inches, an icon 2 to 3 inches. If you have a specific size in mind, drop it in the notes field below and I’ll match it as closely as my hoops allow.
My machines stitch up to 5 inches by 7 inches in a standard hoop, or 5 inches by 12 inches for long-format designs (like a name running down a robe or across a blanket border). Anything beyond those limits I’ll flag before we start.
What I can’t embroider
Very thin silk or satin (puckers), heavily textured chenille, anything stretchy (leggings, jersey), or vintage items I can’t safely hoop. If you’re unsure, send a photo and I’ll let you know before you drop it off.
Turnaround
7 to 10 business days from drop-off. Rush jobs possible, just ask.

Free anywhere in Traverse City (49684, 49685, 49686, 49696). Mail-in welcome with return shipping at cost.
Before we stitch, the honest stuff
- Embroidery is permanent. Once stitched, designs can’t come out without leaving needle holes, so I might ask for a photo of your item before we start.
- Delicate, stretchy, or heavily textured fabrics can pucker. I’ll test on scrap when possible. Vintage or unusual pieces carry some risk, so mention it in the notes if yours is precious.
- Custom work is non-refundable once I’ve started, but if anything feels off when you see it, message me. We’ll figure it out together.

FAQ
Can you copy a font or design from an inspiration photo? Most of the time, yes. Send a screenshot and I’ll match it as closely as my library allows. Fully custom designs may need a quote on request.
Do you work with businesses, designers, or bedding reps? Yes. If you’re sourcing samples, gifts, or recurring custom work, message me directly for trade pricing.
What about applique? Applique requests are coming soon. For now, I’m focused on embroidered monograms, names, and icons.
What if my item is mailed in? Include a note with your initials, font preference, thread color, and a return address. I’ll email confirmation when it arrives and again when it ships back.
